Even when I was heavily pregnant with Ahaan.. I managed to survive the mela madness..and bought a pretty nice (and pretty heavy too) urli for my home.. Well..that speaks volume about my love for the festival!!

# Begin by making special friendship bands for your friends. If you are not the creative type and do not know how to make those bands, but yet would love to make them personal, you could buy them off the shelf and add a note or a photo to them.

# To make your Friendship Day a real memorable one, bake some cupcakes for your buddies. Experiment with various innovative patterns and shapes that will make your foodie buddies go wacky.

# Write out a few special memories on small pieces of paper, and put them all in a jar. Your friend can pull out a note each week.

# Remember to keep the camera ready and capture the precious moments on your Friendship Day party.
